Receiving feedback from a coach

Coach Feedback and Grading in TrainTool

In many cases, you will have been assigned a coach. This can be your manager or an external coach. A few Role Plays will be visible to your coach. This will always be indicated with a little icon in the bottom left of the role play.
When you're satisfied and you save your answer, your coach will receive a notification and they can watch your recording and give you feedback. When your coach has given you feedback, you will receive an e-mail. The coaches aim to give feedback within 48 hours.

If you see 'Practice' in the top left of the segment, that means that your video will not be graded. Instead, the coach will only give feedback for you to improve with. Sometimes a segment is an intake screening or a test which will be graded by the coach. You can pass or fail a segment like this.

Request extra feedback from your coach

n some programs it is possible to ask for extra feedback from your coach on exercises where you would not normally receive feedback. This can be useful if you are not quite sure if you did a task correctly, if you need some extra help, or of course if you would like to show your coach how well you are doing!

How do I ask for extra feedback from my coach?

Requesting feedback from your coach works the same as requesting feedback from friends. Please note that there is a limit to the amount of additional feedback requests you can send to your coach.

Once you have saved your response to a Role Play, you will see the following screen. If you want to receive extra feedback from your coach on this exercise, click on your coach. Your coach is marked with the "Coach" label. You may want to add some text; your coach will see this in the feedback request message. When you want to send the feedback request, click the big green button that says "Ask feedback".
