E-mails/notifications that trainees are expected to receive

All notifications will be sent by email to the email address that is registered in TrainTool. If the participant uses the app, some messages will also be sent as push notifications to the smartphone or tablet.

There are two kinds of messages that they can receive. For certain events and updates, emails will be sent instantly. Reminders for, for example, finishing an exercise or planning a coach call, will be bundled in a single email that will be sent in the morning. The following tables will give more concise info about the types of messages that you can receive.

Personal reminders

Next to the aforementioned types of messages that will be sent directly, participants will receive a single email in the morning with all the reminders that are important for them, for that day. Such an email will only be sent when there is at least one reminder that is urgent. Urgent reminders will be in a grey box in the email, less urgent reminders will be shown as 'Also waiting'. 

The most important reminder will also be sent as a push notification to your smartphone or tablet, when participants use the TrainTool app.
