Q4 - My programs, Alix feedback and Safari
1. New look for trainees
Over the coming months, TrainTool will undergo a visual update. The goal is to improve the look & feel and make sure everyone can easily find the most relevant information in their account. We’re starting with the trainee environment, and the first update has already been released. From now on, trainees will see all their programs in a single, clear overview.

In addition to a more modern design, we’ve ensured that invitations and programs will also appear in this overview going forward. This way, trainees always know exactly where they stand within TrainTool. On the program cards, trainees can now see at a glance how far they’ve progressed, when access to a program becomes available, or what score they achieved on the final assessment.
2. Alix feedback
AI Coach Alix now provides even more detailed and higher-quality feedback. Previously, Alix assessed individual criteria and returned feedback in the form of bullet-pointed strengths and improvement tips. From now on, trainees receive a complete paragraph highlighting positive points as well as potential areas for improvement.
Alix now takes the entire response into account when evaluating performance and generating feedback, rather than focusing only on the parts that trigger specific criteria. This further narrows the gap between feedback from real coaches and feedback from Alix, making Alix’s feedback even more valuable (even though you can of course never be replaced one-to-one, coaches 😉).
3. Safari compatibility
A short but very welcome update: in the past, TrainTool occasionally experienced issues with Safari, which is why we generally advised users to switch to Chrome or Firefox for the best experience. Fortunately, that is now a thing of the past.TrainTool now works just as well on Safari as it does on other browsers, meaning everyone can use their preferred browser again.
(Note: Safari does not allow videos to play automatically. When using Safari, you will always need to press “play” manually when starting an exercise. This does not apply to Chrome or Firefox.)
