In this product update: news about Alix and new releases for our coaches and administrators.
Alix
Alix has a new ‘face.’ In TrainTool, it’s now clearer which exercises are assessed and which feedback is given by Alix. This ensures there’s no more doubt about who is providing feedback (and because Alix deserves it 😉).
Behind the scenes, we’re also working hard on Alix’s performance. From now on, Alix will take the scenario description of a roleplay into account when assessing, and we are continuously improving Alix’s ability to provide more in-depth written feedback.
Coaches
We’ve made some frequently requested changes for coaches in TrainTool:
- Removing open requests: Coaches can now close open feedback requests without handling them. This is useful if you want to review some participants’ exercises randomly without being left with open requests.
- Select one or more requests and click the ‘Delete requests’ button.
- Editing given feedback: Previously provided feedback can now be edited—for example, to fix a typo or add missing information.
- Click the pencil icon in the top right corner of your feedback (in the feedback request) and make your changes. Then save again. The participant will only see the updated feedback.
- Click the pencil icon in the top right corner of your feedback (in the feedback request) and make your changes. Then save again. The participant will only see the updated feedback.
- Immediately see who passed the test: In the overview of completed assessments, coaches can now instantly see who met the test standard. No standard set? Then a dash (-) will be displayed.
Administrators
To make the admin environment clearer and less complex, we have adjusted the segment settings. We have now merged Alix and coaching settings, ensuring that only one option can be selected. This eliminates any confusion about who is assessing exercises and prevents requests from being lost.
