      My microphone's volume is (too) low

      Adjusting Microphone Volume on Windows

      Sometimes, the volume of your microphone is too low to properly hear yourself. This might mean that the volume TrainTool is receiving from your microphone is not sufficient.

      To fix this, adjust the volume in your system's settings. To do so (on Windows):

      • Go to Control panel
      • Go to Hardware & Sounds
      • Go to Sound, then go to the tab Recording
      • Select your microphone and click Configure
      • Turn up the volume

      Reload the TrainTool webpage and test the microphone to make sure the volume has been adjusted.
