Asking friends for feedback

Requesting Feedback from Peers in TrainTool

It is possible to ask your peers for feedback if they follow the same program. You can add them as a friend in TrainTool and ask their feedback on your exercises. Here you can find the explanation on how to do that.

You can only ask for feedback in practice weeks. You cannot ask for feedback for Role Plays in a baseline or final test.

Step 1: Do the exercise

After you have finished the exercise, you will see this screen. If you want to receive feedback on this exercise (and you have not yet added friends), click on Add friend

Step 2:

You can search for your friends by filling in the search bar. In this case, we have a friend called 'PeerReview Student'. As soon as we search for him, we can select him.

Step 3: Select your friend and select the Ask feedback button. You can select multiple friends at once.

You will receive a message when you receive feedback.

Computer

Once you have finished a Role Play, you will see the following screen. If you want to receive feedback on this assignment, click on the participant(s) from whom you want to request feedback. You can optionally add some text, your friend will see this in the message with the request for feedback. If you want to send the request for feedback, click on the big blue button that says "Ask feedback".

If you don't have anyone in your friends list yet or if you want to add an extra person, you can do this by clicking Add more friends. You will then come to the next screen where you can add a person who follows the same program. To do this, enter a name or e-mail address and then select this person by clicking on it.

You can add a person who is enrolled in the same program as you are. To do this, you search for the name or email address of the person followed by selecting the right person.

Once you've added friends, you'll return to the first screen and can ask for feedback again, this time including the new friend.
